Cell Phone Ring Tone Converters

The web has plenty of free ring tones available for cell phone users. Most ringtones are offered in a format known as as RTTTL (Ringing Tones Text Transfer Language). This format was first introduced on the Nokia phones and so the format has become a standard for transfer and publishing of ring tones on the Internet. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your perspective) some of the newer Motorola phones (as well as other brands) don't support the RTTTL format directly.

Since I recently bought a Motorola V66, I wanted to experiment with different ring tones. The V66 only allows ring tones to be manually entered using a format Motorola calls "My Tones" which is a keystroke method of entering notes, note durations, and octaves. Nok2Mot works better than some other online converters because it offers the ability to copy and paste your results.
